Physiotherapy For The Disabled

Volunteers will assist with providing physiotherapy, occupational therapy and improvement activities to children and adults with mental and physical disabilities in the Social Support Center and The School for Disabled Children in Da Nang.

Physiotherapy and occupational therapy

Volunteers will work closely with the Volunteer Vietnam's physiotherapist and will learn the therapy exercises during the volunteer time.  You will spend approximately 16 hours per week in the physiotherapy program. When you are not working in the physiotherapy program, you will be helping out with the other programs, such as the teaching program and care program. Volunteers are given a weekly schedule of their physiotherapy times and activities and there will be a meeting each day with the Volunteer Vietnam team to discuss the therapy plan that will be provided for the patients.
