Program Overview
Your Volunteer Experience
At Volunteer Vietnam, you'll become part of a welcoming international community while making a meaningful difference in the lives of local people. During your stay, you'll live at The Green House, our volunteer accommodation, where you'll share experiences, build lifelong friendships, and immerse yourself in Vietnamese culture.
Each weekday, you'll travel with fellow volunteers and our local team to schools, healthcare centers, and social support facilities across Da Nang. Together, you'll contribute to sustainable community projects that support children, older adults, and people with disabilities.
From the moment you arrive, we'll take care of you. Our staff will meet you at the airport, train station, or bus station and provide a two-day orientation covering accommodation, local culture, health and safety, transportation, and your volunteer placement. Before starting, you'll also have the opportunity to observe experienced volunteers and become familiar with your role.
Volunteers work Monday to Friday morning, leaving Friday afternoon and weekends free to explore Da Nang, Hoi An, and the many cultural and natural attractions of Central Vietnam.
