About us

Who We Are
Volunteer Vietnam Da Nang is an international non-governmental organization (INGO) officially registered with the Government of Vietnam under Registration Certificate No. 236/NVVH-HD, issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Since 2004, we have welcomed nearly 3,000 international volunteers from around the world to support sustainable community projects in healthcare, education, and social welfare. Together with our local partners, we provide ongoing support to approximately 500 vulnerable children, older people, and people with disabilities across Da Nang. Our mission is to create meaningful volunteer experiences while making a lasting difference in the communities we serve.

How We Operate
We work with international volunteer partners and accept direct applications through our website. As an independent non-profit organization, we rely on volunteer program fees and donations to fund our community projects and volunteer services. Our Green House is both our headquarters and volunteer home, a welcoming space where volunteers from around the world live, learn, and work together while experiencing Vietnamese culture.

Our Partners

Our Team

Our organization is managed and operated by Vietnamese people. We work in a team of around 10 members who are responsible for recruiting volunteers, providing information and support before their arrival in Vietnam to help them best prepare for their trip, welcoming them when they arrive in Da Nang, offering orientation and training programs, planning work activities with the volunteers, and working alongside them. Some team members handle logistics such as cooking meals, cleaning the house, and driving. We all truly love what we do, and many of us have been with the organization for years. Most of us are able to communicate well in English.
