If you are studying or interested in physiotherapy or occupational therapy, our internship volunteer program offers you the opportunity to step outside the classroom and experience real humanitarian healthcare work in Vietnam.

Work Alongside Professional Therapists

Volunteer Vietnam supports and helps run a rehabilitation center at a Social Support Center, where we care for more than 50 patients facing challenges related to stroke recovery and bone health conditions.

At the center, you will work alongside four experienced physiotherapists who support patients every day through rehabilitation exercises, mobility training, and long-term recovery care.

As an internship volunteer, you will have the chance to:

• Gain hands-on experience in physiotherapy and occupational therapy
• Observe and support rehabilitation sessions with professional therapists
• Learn how healthcare support is provided in a humanitarian environment
• Build communication and teamwork skills in an international setting
• Understand patient care from both medical and emotional perspectives

Every day brings something different, from helping patients practice movement exercises to simply sharing conversations and encouragement that brighten their day.

Flexible Program Duration

Our internship opportunities are flexible and designed to fit different schedules.

Time Period: From one month to three months.

PROGRAM FEE: USD 300 PER WEEK

As a non-profit organization, Volunteer Vietnam does not receive funding from the government or other institutions to operate. We support underprivileged communities including orphanages, social protection centers, and poor schools throughout Vietnam.

To continue these activities, we rely on program fees from volunteers like you to help fund our operations.

Your program fee helps us cover:

• Volunteer accommodation
• Meals
• Transportation to and from volunteer sites
• Staff salaries and local support teams
• Cultural and recreational activities
• Materials and supplies for volunteer projects
