Meet Our August Volunteers: Different Stories, One Shared Purpose

This August, we welcomed volunteers from the UK, Greece, the US, Belgium, and Italy. From physiotherapy and community activities to teaching English, they shared their time, energy, and kindness with our community. Different backgrounds, different stories, but one shared goal: making a difference and creating meaningful connections.

This month, we were excited to welcome new volunteers to Volunteer Vietnam from the UK, Greece, the US, Belgium, and Italy!
They come from different countries and all kinds of backgrounds, with their own stories, experiences, and reasons for traveling to Vietnam. But once they arrived, they quickly found something they had in common: they all wanted to make a difference.

Over the past few weeks, our volunteers have been getting involved in many different activities. Some have supported our physiotherapy program, while others have spent time with seniors, people with disabilities, and children through our community activities. Our volunteers have also joined English classes and helped local children learn and practice English.

There have been so many little moments that made these past few weeks special, sharing a laugh with a senior, seeing a child become more confident in English, helping someone through a physiotherapy session, or simply sitting down and having a conversation.
