Volunteer Vietnam was pleased to host nursing students from Pusan National University (South Korea) for a community health education program across Da Nang and nearby areas.

Throughout the program, the students worked with different community groups, including children, residents at social support centers, and people with disabilities. Their activities focused on both physical and mental well-being, using interactive, age-appropriate, and community-centered approaches.

Their activities included sessions on arthritis and stomach care at Social Support Center; healthy eating, drug abuse prevention, and smartphone detox in primary schools; and basic hygiene, first aid, and safety skills in kindergartens.

The volunteers also raised awareness about high blood pressure and mosquito-related health risks, supported mask-wearing and independence at the School for Disabilities, and led “Strong Mind” activities at Hope Village to promote emotional well-being.
The program also encouraged meaningful cultural exchange between Korean volunteers and Vietnamese communities.
Volunteer Vietnam sincerely thanks the Pusan University nursing students for their dedication and professionalism, which contributed to positive and lasting impacts on community health.
