This week, Volunteer Vietnam and our amazing volunteers spent a beautiful day with the seniors from the Social Support Center on a special outdoor trip to the beach in Da Nang.
For many of the elderly residents, simple moments outside the center can bring so much happiness. Together, we walked along the beach, enjoyed the fresh sea breeze, admired the beautiful ocean view, and even played with the water like children again. Seeing their smiles, laughter, and excitement made the day truly unforgettable for everyone.
After our beach walk, we continued the outing at a cozy café, where we shared drinks, conversations, and many joyful moments together. It was not only a relaxing trip for the seniors, but also a meaningful opportunity for volunteers to connect, listen to their stories, and bring warmth through companionship.

At Volunteer Vietnam, we truly value every chance to spend quality time with the elderly and help them enjoy meaningful experiences outside the center. Sometimes, happiness comes from the simplest things,  a walk by the sea, a shared drink, or having someone there to talk and laugh with.
