A New Chapter at Village of Hope

This month, we are so happy to introduce another meaningful project at Volunteer Vietnam.

We have started teaching English to deaf students at Village of Hope - a center that supports around 125 children with disabilities and children from disadvantaged backgrounds. Our goal is to give them the opportunity to learn a new language with international volunteers, so they can have more confidence and better career opportunities in the future.

With the help of our amazing volunteers, especially Ginevra (Italy) and Tami (Switzerland), we were also able to provide the students with new school supplies such as school bags, books, a new bookshelf, learning materials, and clothes. Seeing their happy smiles meant everything to us.

We also had a beautiful day together at one of the most beautiful beaches in Da Nang and shared a meal at a restaurant. It was such a joyful and meaningful experience for everyone.

At the same time, our volunteer Laela (Australia) is working on a fundraising project to build a new bathroom for the students at the center - something they really need.

A big thank you to all of our wonderful volunteers for being part of this journey. Your kindness truly makes a difference .
