There are many disadvantaged people who need our help in Hau Giang province, Mekong Delta. We will support 50 abandoned children at Hoa Mai Halfway Home, 200 homeless people at Hau Giang Social Support Center and 100 underprivileged children at Bui Thi Xuan primary school. 

Volunteers will help us to provide English teaching, general education to the children and healthcare and social welfare to the homeless people. 

There is a good chance that volunteers can have a combination placement which they spend their time between the two program locations in Da Nang and Mekong Delta. This will greatly enrich their experience.   Ms Suong, who is a local person, will work as the organizer to help volunteers during their stay. In addition, we will have some other locals to support volunteers during their stay. 

For the past few months we have been sending volunteers to this program to do a pilot program and that was a great success. The children at the halfway home and the school and the homeless people at Social Support Center have had a chance to receive love and attention from us. Their hopes and spirits have been raised during our time with them.
