New Program: Service Learning for College & University Students

Volunteer Vietnam is pleased to introduce a new Service Learning for College & University Students. This two-week program offers participants the opportunity to engage in meaningful community service while gaining hands-on experience in fields such as healthcare, education, and social work.

During the program, students will work directly with vulnerable groups including abandoned children, impoverished families, the elderly without support, and individuals with disabilities. Activities include teaching basic English, assisting with physical therapy, supporting special education, and helping with maintenance work at schools and social centers.

The program is best suited for students studying public health, nursing, physical or occupational therapy, education, social sciences, and related fields. However, all students aged 18 and over are welcome to join.

In addition to volunteer work, students will enjoy a range of cultural experiences such as Vietnamese language and cooking classes, karaoke with local residents, beach outings, and tours around Da Nang and nearby attractions.

Each participant will receive a Certificate of Program Participation upon completion. The program fee is USD 600 per student, which covers accommodation, meals, transportation, and activities.
