Your Experience as a Teaching Volunteer with Volunteer Vietnam

As a Teaching Volunteer in Vietnam, you will support local teachers and lead small-group sessions focused on:

  • Basic English skills (vocabulary, pronunciation, simple conversations)
  • Fun learning activities such as singing, storytelling, sports, and art
  • Confidence-building through games and interactive play
  • Support for children with intellectual and developmental delays

No prior teaching experience is required, just good English communication skills and enthusiasm. Volunteers receive training and guidance upon arrival on lesson planning, classroom management, and creative teaching methods. Applicants with backgrounds in education, early childhood, or special education are especially welcome.
Volunteers usually work around 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with the option to join other social work or healthcare programs during free time.
