At Volunteer Vietnam, our programs offer more than just volunteer work. We also organize a range of fun and engaging cultural activities, including karaoke nights, Vietnamese language lessons, and one of the most exciting highlights - Vietnamese cooking classes.

Guided by a local Vietnamese chef, volunteers have the chance to learn how to make some of the country’s most beloved dishes, such as Quang noodles, Vietnamese pancakes (banh xeo), and spring rolls.

The experience begins with a visit to the local market to shop for fresh ingredients. Then, volunteers join in preparing and cooking the dishes together, all while learning about traditional Vietnamese flavors and cooking techniques.

More than just a lesson, it’s a meaningful cultural exchange where volunteers can truly immerse themselves in Vietnamese cuisine and daily life. By the end of the day, everyone enjoys a delicious meal they’ve made with their own hands and leaves with a deeper connection to Vietnam.
