Hands Together, Hearts United: Another Wonderful Week of Volunteering

Our international teams joined hands with Volunteer Vietnam teams, working tirelessly to bring meaningful change to the lives of those in need this week. One of our key achievements was building a manual for the Volunteer Vietnam Program, which clearly illustrates our activities and provides more specific guidance for future volunteers.
With the guidance of expert volunteers in physiotherapy and occupational therapy, we continued adopting innovative approaches to support people recovering from strokes, the elderly, and children living in the Social Support Center. These new techniques aim to improve mobility, coordination, and overall well-being.

In addition to therapy, we explored new sensory play activities for children. Volunteers set up tables and chairs, carefully arranging different materials to encourage engagement and exploration. Children had the freedom to move between stations, mixing and matching materials such as blending spaghetti with shaving foam to enhance their sensory experiences.
